Tiger's Eye forms when Quartz grows over existing bluish gray crocidolite , and eventually entirely replaces it. Most Tiger Eye is found in Southern Africa but there are some deposits in India and Australia. Tiger Eye has a silky luster and usually found in a honey gold color but also in blues and reds.
